Z3 Roof Leak

This year bmw used a seal made of cork that dried out.

I own a 1998 bmw z3 convertible and the roof is leaking on the passenger side during heavy rains. We could find and found it by looking at a german version of the car details. Eventually you will find the source of the leak and replace the seal cover. I am wondering is this a job.
